Cognitive Script Theory and the Translation of the Motion Events in Ancient Chinese Poetry

从认知脚本的理论看,汉语古诗词中的动态事件可分为无标记脚本、轻标记脚本和重标记脚本.在翻译时,译者的任务是在译入语中寻找可以激活和源语脚本相同或相似的脚本,让译入语读者感受诗词的动态美.具体的翻译方法包括翻译完整的脚本、明示隐含的脚本序列、建立新脚本、寻找替换脚本、添加脚本触发器、转换翻译角度等.

From perspective of cognitive script theory, the motion events in Ancient Chinese poetry can be classified into three categories： no -marked script, light marked script and heavy marked script. In translation, translators should seek in the TT the scripts that are the same as or similar to those in the ST so that the TY readers can sense the beauty of the motion events. Specifically, the translation strategies include translating a complete script, manifesting the hidden steps of the scripts, building new scripts, seeking proper scripts in the TT to replace those in the ST, adding some script triggers and shifting the angle of translation.
