This article explores how to cultivate student＆#39;s critical thinking ability in college English teaching process in the network envi-ronment with the help of task-based teaching method through examples. Meanwhile, it also analyzes the advantages of task-based teach-ing method in developing students＆#39; critical thinking ability and states some issues that need attention.
