摘要
词汇教学是英语听力教学的核心组或部分之一,词汇量不足会直接建成听力理解的障碍.本文从词汇在英语听力中的重要性出发,分析了英语词汇学习中的难点并据此提出了多模态英语听力词汇教学课堂设计,以听觉、视觉、触觉、姿势、空间的多种体验和感官刺激,为学生提供声、像、图、文环绕的交互式训练环境,强化听力词汇输入与运用,有效扩大学习者的听力词汇量,整体提升学习者的听力水平及多元识读能力.
Vocabulary is a crucial aspect of English listening comprehension.Inadequate vocabulary is sure to hinder learners’ understanding.Based on the importance of vocabulary in listening,this paper analyzes the difficulties of grasping vocabulary and proposes a multimodal vocabulary teaching plan,which provides students sounds,videos,graphs and scripts in classroom activities, motivating students from audio,visual,touching,postural and spatial modalities.The plan aims to reinforce the input and application of listening vocabulary,enlarge learners’ listening vocabulary and enhance their listening comprehension and multiliteracies.
