全球化背景下的性别意识与中国电影的国家形象构建

Gender Awareness and the Construction of National Image in Chinese Movies in the Context of Globalization

近代意义上的民族国家自诞生以来就具有阳刚性征,这是由国家权力集中于男性群体以及在国际政治格局中国家之间利益争夺所决定的。当下中国电影出现明显的性别失衡,在阳刚与阴柔截然两分的性别话语中,很难突破男优女劣的性别模式。本文认为应从以下五个方面构建刚柔兼备、性别和谐的国家形象:1.塑造人物形象应在不同的具体情势中,选择所需的性别话语与特征;2.在构建国家形象的过程中,应出现由阴柔而阳刚的辩证过程;3.注意叙述和叙述对象之间性别意识的呼应;4.需要整体把握不同性征的故事类型;5.需重视传播方式的改变带来叙事媒介性别特征的变化。

In modem sense, nation state acquires the masculine features as soon as it is founded. This is due to the fact that the power of the state is controlled by the male group and struggles for interests among states in the international political structure. At present, Chinese movies demonstrate obvious gender imbalance. In the totally different gender discourse between masculinity and femininity, it is very difficult to break the gender stereotype that male is superior to female. This paper suggests building a national image that features the combination of masculinity and femininity and gender harmony from the following five aspects. 1. The portrayal of the character should be in accord with the needed gender discourse and feature in different situations. 2. The process of constructing national image should follow the dialectical progression from femininity to masculinity. 3. Attention should be paid to the conformity of narration with the gender consciousness between narrators. 4. An overall mastery of different styles of stories. 5. Notice the change of conveyance can also bring changes to the gender feature of narration media.
