摘要
The "Two Sessions" held in Beijing this month have charted the course for the Chinese economy in 2014. Premier Li Keqiang's government work report set this year's GDP growth target at 7.5%, which would create an additional 10 million jobs, slightly lower than last year's Z7%. In order to reach this goal, however, "less" rather than "more" is what's needed. The country will cut overcapacity of 27 million tons of steel, 42 million tons of cement and 35 million cases of plate glass. A national war on air pollution was also declared at the NPC session.
