Members of the American Chamber of Commerce in South China are expecting their budgets for expansion in China to increase 30% to hit US$13 billion this year. The member companies in the southern China region have expressed strong confidence in the vast Chinese market and China＇seconomic reforms, according to a survey published in the Guangdong provincia capital of Guangzhou on February 26. The survey, conducted by AmCham South China, interviewed 351 companies about their projected investment spending in 2014. AmCham South China has more than 2,000 corporate and individual members in the southern China region, which borders the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions.
