The application of the phousphorus reduction technology consisting of sulphur flotation,low intensity magnetic separation and high intensity magnetic separation for reducing the phousphorus of iron concentrate in Shanghai Meishan Group (Nangjing) Mining Co. Ltd's concentrator is described and its problems such as high iron loss are discussed.
