Tripterygium wilfordii extraction for treating rheumatoid arthritis: a meta-analysis

目的评价雷公藤提取物(TWHF)治疗类风湿关节炎(RA)的疗效和安全性。方法检索PubMed、CBM、CNKI等数据库(时间截止至2013年6月),同时手工检索相关杂志和参考文献,选择符合标准的文献。按Cochrane系统评价方法,评价纳入研究的方法学质量评价并提取有效数据,采用Stata 10.0软件进行Meta分析。结果共纳入15个RCTs,TWHF与安慰剂相比,关节肿胀数、晨僵、双手握力、ESR均有显著性差异(P均<0.05),不良反应率TWHF高于安慰剂组。TWHF与抗风湿药(DMARDs)比较,晨僵及双手握力有显著性差异(P<0.05),不良反应率比较无显著性差异。TWHF+DMARDs与DMARDs相比,关节肿胀指数有显著性差异(P<0.05),不良反应率比较无显著性差异。结论 TWHF治疗RA的疗效和安全性尚需要高质量和大样本RCT进一步验证。

Objective It is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Tripterygium wilfordii Hook F（TWHF） extraction in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis（RA）.Methods Searching was conducted in the following databases：PubMed,CBM,CNKI from their establishment to June 2013.Additional studies were identified by a hand search of references of original studies.The quality of included studies was evaluated and meta-analysis was performed.According to the Cochrane methods,valid data were picked up to be meta-analyzed by Stata10.0 software.Results A total of 15 studies were enrolled,compared TWHF with placebo,swollen joint count,duration of morning stiffness,grip strength,ESR of TWHF group were significant superior to that of control group.Compared TWHF with DMARDs,duration of morning stiffness,grip strength of TWHF group were significant superior to that of DMARDs group.Compared TWHF plus DMARDs with DMARDs,swollen joint count of TWHF plus DMARDs group was significant superior to that of DMARDs group.Conclusion However,high quality RCTs with larger samples are needed for a further analysis.
