摘要
本文从理论上阐述了硅基玻璃光纤的强度和疲劳特性,提出了光纤总强度衰退、强度的统计分布、强度试验和筛选的计算方法,为预测光纤的环境特性和可靠性提供了理论依据。
The SiO_2 based optical fiber property of strength and fatiguehas been explained from the theory point of view, and calculationmethods of optical fiber general strength degradation, statisticaldistribution of strength, strength testing and prooftesting have also becnput forward in this paper. The theory will be applied to predict thefiber environmental performance and reliability.
