摘要
通过对汉英旅游平行文本的对比分析,发现他们具有相似的写作动机和文本功能,但由于汉英民族的思维差异,二者在语言特点、信息功能、审美习惯、认知图示、文体风格上表现出较大的不同,这些不同又影响到《昭通旅游导游词》这类旅游景点介绍文本的翻译策略和方法。
A contrast analysis of tourist parallel texts in Chinese and English reveals that,they share similar writing motivation and text function,but differ greatly at language feature,information function,aesthetic habit,cognitive schema,and artistic style.All the differences are closely related to different ways of thinking in Chinese and English,which partly determine the strategies and ap-proaches employed in the English translation of tourist brochures such as Zhaotong Travel Guide.
