Education must adapt to the development and needs of the society and the students. As main part of education, only con stant improving and meeting the development needs of the society and the students can ensure the bright future of a curriculum. The important aim and idea of college English reform is its modernist, polytechnic and diverse. It is the truth that any curriculum entering a classroom depends on the development needs of the society and students. At present the tendency of the development of h!gher ed- ucation being vocational has charted the orientation for college English.
