The Interpretation of Genre-based Teaching Approach for English Majors of University for Nationalities

回顾国内外对体裁研究现状,分析了三大体裁理论流派及其相应的教学模式。对体裁、体裁教学法理论进行本土化阐释有利于引起民族高校英语专业教学界的关注和实践,以期更好地促进教学。

This paper reviews the current research situation of genre from home and abroad, analyzes three traditional genre schools and its corresponding teaching model. Interpreting genre and genre-based teaching approach could arouse the interests of English lan- guage teaching field of university for nationalities and push them to practice to improve students reading and writing competence.
