摘要
论述二语学习动机理论经历社会心理、认知情境、过程倾向三个发展阶段与每一阶段对外语教学的意义。教师在教学过程中运用动机策略的目的是培养学生的自我调节能力和学习自主性。
L2 motivation theories have three distinct phases: the social psychological period, the cognitive - situated period and the process - oriented period, each of which makes its own attribution to the L2 teaching in China. This paper advocates that teachers should aim to socialize and internalize healthy forms of internally driven motivation among L2 learners who should develop their own motivation and self- regulatory strategies, which serves to be the ultimate goal of any teachers" motivational strategies.
