美国韦尔斯利学院档案馆藏宋美龄档案资料非常丰富,主要集中于"蒋宋美龄档案"和"埃玛·德隆·米尔斯档案"之中。"米尔斯档案"中有1917至1980年宋美龄与其大学同学米尔斯的往来书信数百封,其中1917至1928年间宋美龄致米尔斯及其家人书信80余封,展现了宋美龄的所见、所思和所感,弥补了早年宋美龄研究史料的不足,对深化宋美龄及其家族的研究具有弥足珍贵的史料价值。
There are abundant archives about Soong May-ling collected in Weliesley College of the US.In archives about Mills,there were hundreds of shuttlecock letters between Soong and her university classmate Mills from 1917 to 1980.Among them,the 80 letters written by Soong to Mills and her family from 1917 tol920described what Soong saw,thought and felt at that time.These archives were of great value in studying Soong and her family.
