鼻咽癌中p16蛋白表达缺失与EB病毒感染的关系

Deletion of p16 Protein Expression and Its Relationship with EB Virus Infection in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

目的 探讨鼻咽癌组织中p16蛋白表达缺失情况及与EB病毒在鼻咽癌发生中的关系。方法 用免疫组化方法检测 p16蛋白表达 ,EBER - 1核酸原位杂交法检测EB病毒感染。 结果 42例鼻咽癌组织中 ,34例 p16蛋白表达缺失 (81% ) ,2 8例EBER - 1阳性 (6 7% )。p16蛋白表达缺失与EBER - 1阳性无明显关系 (P >0 .0 5 )。 结论 p16基因功能失活与鼻咽癌发生关系密切 ,但与EB病毒感染关系不明显。

Objective To investigate the deletion of p16 protein expression in nasopharyngeal carcinoma and its relationship with EB virus infection in carcinogenesis. Methods The expression of p16 protein was detected by immunohistochemistry and EB virus infection was confirmed by EBER-1 in situ hybridization. Results In the 42 cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma biopsies investigated, 34 cases were found to show deletion of p16 protein expression (81%) and 28 cases were EBER-1 positive (67%). Deletion of p16 protein expression was not associated with EBER-1 positive reaction( P >0.05). Conclusion Inactivation of p16 gene is frequently involved in the carcinogenesis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma and is not related to EB virus infection significantly.
