刘易斯《经济增长理论》的启示

Inspiration from “The Theory of Economic Growth”by Lewis

改革开放以来,我国经济飞速发展,取得了举世瞩目的伟大业绩。但是自2008年9月以来国际经济形势复杂多变,特别是目前全球性金融危机以及欧债危机,给我国未来经济的进一步发展带来许多不确定性因素,而且我国经济正处于转型的关键时期。在这种情况下,很有必要重读刘易斯的《经济增长理论》,笔者感触颇多的是该书中的个人行为选择、制度、人口、资源等几方面,该书对指导我国经济进一步发展有一定的理论与现实意义。

Since the reform and opening-up, China＇ s economy has been developing rapidly and scored great achievements attracting worldwide attention. However, since September 2008, the complicated and changeable international economic situation, together with the current global financial crisis and the European debt crisis, has brought many uncertainties to the further development of China＇ s economy. Furthermore, China＇ s economy is in a crucial period of transformation. In this case, the paper argues that it＇ s necessary to reread ＂The Theory of Economic Growth＂ by Lewis. What impressed me most is the individual behavior choice, system, population, resources and so on in the book. The book is significant to the further development of China＇ s economy both in theory and in practice.
