摘要
语篇分析没有既定的公理和分析步骤,也没有公认的指导方法。而Halliday构建的系统功能语法为语篇分析提供了一个可行的理论框架。运用Halliday的系统功能理论分析探讨了肯尼迪就职演说中如何通过及物性系统、语气系统以及主位结构、衔接系统来实现语篇功能。本文基于系统功能的观点对语篇进行分析,以其彰显政治演说中的语言特点和社会意义。
Discourse analysis has no definite formula and procedure to follow. Systematic Functional Grammar by Halliday provides a viable framework for discourse analysis. This present paper analyzes the theoretical basis and probes into the realization of discourse function in Kennedy＇ s inaugural address by transitivity system, mood system, cohesion system and theme-rbeme structure, aiming at enlightening language features and social meanings of politic speeches.
