摘要
车牌自动识别系统是智能交通系统中的关键技术,在信息采集、车辆管理、自动收费等领域有着广泛的应用前景。车牌识别技术的研究主要包括三个部分:车牌定位、字符分割和字符识别。本系统全面包括了车牌定位到车牌字符识别,对车牌识别的技术。文章所涉及的各项处理技术均进行了MATLAB仿真实验,实现了相应功能,能够准确、快速地实现汽车牌照的识别。
Automatic license plate recognition system is the key technology in the intelligent transportation system, and has broad application prospect in the fields such as information collection, vehicle management and automatic charging. The research on Vehicle License Plate Recognition (VLPR) mainly includes three parts:license plate localization, character segmentation and character recognition. This system wholly includes these three parts. The various processing technologies involved in this system are verified on the MATLAB simulation experiment, and it has realized the corresponding function and the exact and fast recognition of license plate.
