Jack London’s novel The call of the wild is a classic fable of mankind, revealing the collision and struggle in modern human civilization and society through the protagonist Buck’s experiences and destination. This paper attempts to demonstrate its relevation on modern civilization and its endeavor to salvage the corrupted society.
