“在”虚化引起的动词增元现象探讨——以“我住在北京”为例

The Verb Valency Increase Driven by the Grammaticalization of “Zai(在)”: with Special Reference to the Structure “I live in Beijing(我住在北京)”

现代汉语实词的虚化是语言历时发展的体现,同时也为共时的研究提供了素材。文章在前人有关"在"虚化研究的基础上,进一步探讨句式"NP+VP+在+NL处所"因"在"的虚化,动词(VP)"价"的改变以及整个句式的变化,并探询其具体生成过程。

The grammaticalization of content words in Modern Chinese is a reflection of the diachronic change of Chinese, and provides data for its synchronic study. Based on the previous studies of the grammaticalization of “zai（在）”, this paper discusses the grammaticalization of the structure “NP＋VP＋在＋NL localizer（处所）”driven by“zai（在）”, the valence increase of the related verb and the change of the whole structure. The generation of the structure is also investigated.
