摘要
清末汉语中有一个特殊的"所",是起强调作用的语气副词。与"所"同音的"索"在汉语史上也有在动词前做状语,表"尽、全"之义的语气副词用法,且在清代文献中,出现了"所""索"可互换的例子。清末汉语的"所"应该是"索"的同音假借,只是在现代汉语中,这个意义的"所""索"基本消失了。
At the end of Qing Dynasty, there was a special ＂suo （所）＂ in Chinese with the emphasis on the role of adverbs. It was the homonym of ＂suo （索）＂ in Chinese history. ＂Suo （所）＂ could be exchanged with ＂suo （索）＂ at the end of Qing dynasty. It should be a ＂borrowed＂ word under the guise of homonyms. But in modem Chinese, this sense of ＂suo （所）＂ almost disappeared.
