摘要
James Wallace is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Maryland at College Park and Director of its Burg- ers Program for Fluid Dynamics. He was a research scientist at the Max-Planck-Institut fuer Stroemungsforsc- hung in Goettingen, Germany from 1969-1975. Wallace does experimental research on turbulent shear flows, in particular with the development of techniques for measuring and analyzing velocity gradient fields.
