车的发明和使用是人类社会生活的重大创举,从最早的车发展到今天,车已经成为人类最主要的交通工具。目前学术界,对于车的起源和发展还是缺乏统一的意见,特别是在对中国古代车的起源认识上存在较大的分歧。文章从社会背景因素和地理环境因素两方面因素来探讨中国古代车的起源,并且据此指出今后探寻中国古代车的起源的不同视角。

The invention and use of wheeled vehicles is a great creation of human social life, from the earliest wheeled vehicles develop- ment today＇ s car, the car has become the main transportation tool for human. At present, the academic circles, for the origin and devel- opment of a car or the lack of a unified opinion, especially in the presence of large differences on the origins of the Chinese ancient vehi- cle recognition. This article mainly from the social background and geographical environment factors two factors to explore the origin of Chinese ancient wheeled vehicles, and pointed out the different perspectives in the future to explore the origin of Chinese ancient wheeled vehicles.
