This article will take Urumqi low carbon city construction as the research object and analysis the current situation and the open questions existing during the construction of Urumqi low carbon city via the strengths and weaknesses and then put forward the strategic positioning and constructional path of low carbon city construction, expect to offer references to Urumqi low carbon city construction.
