The article points out that Deng Xiao-ping's constructive thought on the application of science and technology focuses on the mutual coordination of four elements.These include internal force (the research and development of science and technology),external force(social demand),industrialization of science technology (a combination of the above-mentioned elements) and human resources.The paper dwells on these 4 elements and arrives at a conclusion that only when these elements are coordinately developed and their individual potentials fully achieved can there be a boost in the application of science and technology to real productivity.
