In the 1930s, Qingdao, a city from being regarded as the ' Desert of Culture, ' suddenly became bustling. A large group of great masters of literature, such as Wang Tongzhao, Wen Yiduo, Liang Shiqiu, Shen Congwen, Lao She, Hong Shen, Xiao Hong, Xiao Jun and Zang Kejia came to Qingdao. Due to their arrival, Qingdao as a coastal city since then has had deep reserves of culture. As a result, a brilliant page has been added to China's modern literature history.Time has passed. However, people will never forget the glorious years when the great masters of literature gathered in Qingdao as well as the glories and influence they brought for the city. At the same time, people may wonder whether the phenomenon of a gathering of great masters of literature will appear in the city once more.
