We Are in Action to Serve the World Horticulture Expo

眼看着，世园会志愿者的队伍伴随着2014青岛世园会的临近而逐渐壮大。近日，在2014青岛世界园艺博览会倒计时50天和纪念“三八”国际劳动妇女节之际，由2014青岛世园会执委会、青岛市文明办、市妇联、团市委、李沧区委宣传部主办，李沧区文明办、区妇联、团区委联合承办的青岛市“学雷锋，迎世园志愿服务大行动”暨“百万家庭服务世园”誓师大会隆重举行。当“服务世园”的大旗迎风飞舞时，青岛，正热情期盼着2014青岛世园会的到来。

On the occasion of the 50-day countdown to the opening of the 2014 World Horticultural Expo and the 51st anniversary of Mao Zedong's encourage inscription 'Learning from comrade Lei Feng,' on the afternoon of March 6, part of the leaders of Qingdao City and the districts under the administration of Qingdao as well as nearly 1,000 volunteers launched an oath-taking rally with the theme of 'Learning from Lei Feng and in action to greet and serve the World Horticultural Expo' at the Licang Culture Square. Liu Qinghua, president of Women's Federation of Qingdao City, expressed her good wishes and festival congratulations to the volunteers and women throughout Qingdao and called all women and families in Qingdao to be united. She wished that under the volunteer spirit of 'dedicated, friendly, mutual-help and progressive,' taking serving the World Horticultural Expo as the opportunity, all women and volunteers in Qingdao could carry forward the traditional Chinese virtues and the Lei Feng Spirit, practice the socialist values, create a harmonious society and render their contributions to the World Horticultural Expo. After the rally, a series of volunteer service activities were started.
