曾几何时，志愿者出现在街头巷尾。出现在你我身边；曾几何时，志愿者成为了青岛的一道靓丽风景线：无论是2008年奥帆赛还是全运会，无论是十艺节还是各项国际帆船赛事。我们都能看到志愿者的身影活跃在城市里、人群中。不仅如此，青岛各种形式的志愿服务团体不断涌现。公共文明引导志愿者等团体的建立，让平日的青岛更为和谐多彩。服务大家，文明你我，这些乐于奉献的人们在这座大爱之城中谱写出一曲曲文明的赞歌。

The themed activities of 'Greeting the World Horaticultural Expo—My Colorful Volunteer Life', which have been continuously launched from March 2013, have promoted public enthusiasm to engage in the volunteer activities for the World Horticultural Expo. The messenger team established by the World Horticultural Expo Volunteer Department has designed the letter paper of blessing and a messenger flag. It also invites the volunteers to avail themselves of the important racing events and festivals as well as the visiting and tourism opportunities in other areas to spread the news worldwide that Qingdao will host the World Horticultural Expo and invite people to offer good wishes for the World Horticultural Expo. Additionally, the ambassadors of the World Horticultural Expo, such as Guo Chuan, Jiang Xintian and Huang Bo, have been invited to shoot the publicity advertisement for the World Horticultural Expo, which was distributed during the period when the volunteers were recruited. Thus far, the banners greeting the World Horticultural Expo have fl uttered across China and 35 countries across the world.
