高等教育必须加强素质教育 ,强化质量意识 ,这是时代赋予的使命。在对大学生的诸多素质要求中 ,应“把思想政治素质作为最重要的素质”。因此高等学校不仅要注重提高专业教育质量 ,更要重视对大学生的思想政治教育。高校实施思想政治素质教育时 ,应突出重点 ,努力实现思想政治工作者自身和教育方法。

It is the mission entrusted by the times that higher education should strengthen quality education and enhance quality awareness.Among the many qualities required for college students,ideological and political quality comes first.Therefore,institutions of higher learning should not only lay great emphasis on the improvement of quality in professional education,but in the mean time focus more attention on the ideological and political education of college students.Institutions of higher learning should make the focal points of ideological and political quality education stand out and strives for the modernization of the staff,the educational methods,means and system.
