Comments on the Relationship Between Composition and Quality-oriented Education

作文是一种教育手段 ,其终极目的在于育人 ,在于提高学生的全面素质。能否提高学生的作文素质关系到提高学生的语言总体水平 ,关系到学生的整体素质。在作文教学中实施素质教育 ,应树立以“人”为本的大作文教育观 ,努力强化学生思想品德素质、创造性思维素质。

Composition is a means of teaching with its ultimate aim to train students in an all-round way. The improvement of the students' ability in composition writing is of great importance both for the imporvement of their language proficiency and the comprehensives development of their quality. When carrying out quality-oriented education in composition writing, we should stick to the student-centered way of teaching; we should try hard to develop the students morally and intellectually, to cultivate their creativity as well as to pay attention to their non-intelligent factor in composition writing.
