摘要
大学课程教学的重要目标之一是提高在校大学生的可雇佣性学习动机。本文将可雇佣性学习动机划分为学习能力、沟通能力和管理技能三个维度,运用468份在校大学生的有效问卷进行了实证研究。研究结果发现:不同性别的大学生,学习能力具有显著差异;不同性别的大学生,沟通能力具有显著性差异;不同性别的大学生,管理技能无显著差异。此结果可为我国高校英语教学改革提供新依据。
One of the most important missions in English teaching and curriculum design is to enhance students' learning mo- tivation for employability. The authors, reviewing the related literature of employability at home and abroad, constructed a questionnaire and grouped English learning motivation for employability into three dimensions. They are learning ability, com- munication ability and managerial skills. Based on the analyses of a sample of 468 valid questionnaires, the authors find that 1 ) students' learning ability is greatly affected by their gender; 2) students' communication skills closely relates to their gen- der; 3) students' managerial skills are not closely affected by their gender. These conclusions may pave a new way for future college English-teaching or English curriculum design in China.
