摘要
外语院校非英语专业的学生对于英语学习的重视程度要远远高于一般综合院校的非英语专业学生,因此在词汇学习策略的使用上也略有不同,然而国内没人对这一特殊群体进行研究。通过问卷和访谈的形式调查发现,四川外国语大学新闻专业的学生较多使用元认知策略、猜词策略和记笔记策略,较少使用关键词策略。同时在学生们记笔记时更愿意直接记录中文意思,较多使用重复法记忆单词,很少注意激活策略的使用。
Non-English major students in foreign language universities attach more importance to English study than non-Eng- lish major students in other types of universities. Therefore, there may be some differences in their vocabulary learning strate- gies. Till now, nobody has investigated vocabulary learning strategies in this special group. In this article, students majoring in Communication from Sichuan International Studies University are studied by questionnaires and interviews. Students in this class are more willing to use meta-cognitive strategies, guessing strategies and note-taking strategies, and seldom use key-word method. Meanwhile, most of the students in this class just take notes of Chinese meanings directly, remember words by repeti- tion, and rarely use activation strategies.
