In bridge construction, cofferdam island raising has strong economy and feasibility. Its con- struction is convenient, and it has important significance for prevent water pollution caused by underwater construction bridge project. Given this, combined with the example of Songtao-Tongren Expressway Bridge Engineering, the paper analyzes the development and implementation of cofferdam island raising program, which can provide reference for similar engineering projects.
