Combined with the current situation and topography and geology condition of one highway, from the aspects such as the flat and the longitudinal linear design, subgrade and pavement design, plane intersection design, drainage design, roadside and safety barrier design, and so on, the paper discusses the technical characteristics of highway design in the area. At the same time, it puts forward some matters needing attention in future highway design, which can provide reference for the relevant project.
