Jam es C. Thomson is the active promoter to adjust China policy in the period of Johnson administration. Based on his reflection of ＂containment and isolation＂ policy, Thomson formed the thought of the ＂containment plus subversion＂ China policy. In order to pursue his own claims, he came up with ideas for Johnson government to achieve his ＂containment＂ and ＂subversion＂ purpose on China. Thomson＇s China policy ideas and corresponding measures play an important role in promoting Johnson government＇s China policy in its late period.
