民族地区地方院校大学英语教学存在的问题及应对策略——以凯里学院为例

Problems and Solutions of College English Teaching in China's Ethnic Minority Areas——Exemplified by Kaili University

我国西部民族地区院校大学英语教学有许多地方特色,但也存在许多问题,如学生语言能力相对低下,师资力量不足,教学设施陈旧等。解决这些问题的策略是:采用现代外语教学方法,采取编订或选用地方特色的大学外语教材;科学运用多媒体等现代化教学设施;运用多模态识读教学法改革地方院校的大学外语教学法等。

versities in Compared with the college English teaching of universities in other areas of China, China＇ s western areas have a lot of problems, such as students＇ poor language the uni- abilities, shortage of teachers, outdated teaching instruments etc. The key solutions to these problems are taking modernized teaching methods, compiling proper textbooks, scientific use of multi-media teaching in- struments, and reforming the college English teaching methods by means of multiliteracy teaching ap- proach, if these strategies are applied suitably, they will soon help the college English teaching in these areas out of trouble.
