女性主义翻译的伦理解读——以赛珍珠译《水浒传》为例

Ethics of Feminism Translation Studies: A Case Study of All Men are Brothers Translated by Pearl S. Buck

国内外翻译伦理的研究队伍日益壮大,其内涵亦不断深化。美国学者道格拉斯·罗宾逊观察了各种翻译伦理的归纳与描述后,在翻译身体学基础上,通过改造含有vert-词根的概念,提出了自己的翻译伦理,其核心思想又与女性主义翻译的精髓不谋而合。以赛珍珠译《水浒传》中三位女性形象的相关素材为例,发现颠覆的伦理和多样化的伦理既是女性主义翻译家从事翻译活动时所遵循的规范,亦是她们所采用的方法。

There are an increasing number of scholars and researchers who have been working on translation ethics at home and abroad, which results in the deepening and enlargement of its extension and intension. Based on ＂the somatics of translation＂, American scholar Douglas Robinson delivers his several ethics of translation by adopting words of the root ＂vert-＂ after analysis of the existing terms and descriptions of translation ethics, while the quintessence of feminism translation happens to hold the same view with his core concepts. Through a case study of All Men are Brothers Translated by Pearl S. Buck, this article has revealed that the ethics of subversion and diversion are the goals and ways to achieve the goals of the feminism translators.
