World and China＇s wheat industry have made some changes in 2013, yield of world wheat made a new record level, consumption of wheat was also slightly up, supply and demand of world wheat was going to ease, wheat trade increased slightly, and price of world wheat went down in the whole year. Supply and demand of wheat was balance in China, price rose slightly in domestic market, and the wheat industry de veloped healthily. On the basis of summing up status quo and characteristics of 2013 world and China＇s wheat industry, this paper analyzed the main factors affecting wheat industry at home and abroad, and then ex- pected supply and demand, price and trade of wheat in the future.
