Spherizone technology is the most innovative and the most advanced technology for polypropylene production,which is developed by United States Lyondell Basell Company based on Spheripol process.In this paper,the characteristics of Spherizone technology,catalyst types,reactor characteristics,the typical grades of polypropylene products,and its application in fiber,thermoforming and injection molding fields were introduced.Spherizone technology as the latest generation technology for polypropylene production has broad application prospects.
