The Bookstores and Publications Directed by XU Te-li During Early Anti-Japanese War Period

1937年11月26日至1940年8月，徐特立担任国民革命军18集团军高级参议、驻湘通讯处代表，回湖南开展抗日宣传统战工作。在这段时间里，徐特立关心指导创办了进步的湘江书店、五五书店、民众书店，并指导这些书店出版书刊，进行抗日宣传。

When XU Te-li served as senior senate ofthel 8th national revolutionary army and representative in Hunan communications from November 26, 1937 to August 1940, he went back to Hunan carry out the anti-Japanese propaganda work and unification work. During this time, XU Te-li directed people to found Xiangjiang Bookstore, Wuwu Bookstore and People＇s Bookstore, where people were directed to publish books to make the anti-Japanese propaganda.
