摘要 植物保护是现代化农业生产体系中不可缺少的一环。自二次大战后,由于化学农药与肥料的急速发展与应用,使农业生产有突破性的进展。本文旨在回顾20世纪下半叶,植物保护的进展情形,植物保护科技应用所涉及的问题以及植物保护科技在新纪元里的发展趋势。 Protection of crops against disease, insect pests and weeds is vital in modern agriculture. Since the end of World War II , numerous synthetic chemical pesticides have been developed and used successfully in the control of crop disease and pests. Several decades later, we have begun to realize the deleterious effects of chemical pesticides on the environment and recognize the need for alternative pest management technologies that are environmentally friendly and sustainable. This review focuses on advances of plant protection during the last half of the 20th century, with emphasis on problems associated with technological advancement and a discussion on prospects in plant protection in the new millennium.
