On the Effect and Prospect of APEC's Promoting Innovative Growth Cooperation

全球金融危机爆发以来,世界经济形势带来新的挑战,无论是发达国家还是发展中国家,都在努力寻求新的增长动力。APEC作为亚太地区最重要的区域合作平台,自2010年起一直将"创新增长合作"作为其重要议题。2014年将在中国召开的APEC会议仍以"促进经济创新发展、改革与增长"作为会议的重要议题之一。可见,创新、增长、合作、改革已成为推动亚太地区乃至世界经济复苏与发展的新取向。

Since the global financial crisis, world economy has witnessed new challenges and both developing countries and developed countries are striving to discover new growth momentum. As the most important platform for regional cooperation in Asia-Pacific, APEC has enlisted ＂innovated growth cooperation＂ as one of its priorities continuously since 2010. The forthcoming 2014 APEC economic leaders＇ meeting in Beijing again pri- oritizes ＂promoting innovative development, economic reform and growth＂ . Upon those, it can be inferred that innovation, growth, cooperation and reform have become the new pursuit to achieve economic recovery and development of Asia-Pacific region and even the world. This paper focuses on the content and effect of APEC＇s promotion of innovative growth cooperation and discusses the prospect of its cooperation.
