Opportunities and Challenges of Sino-Vietnam Relationship in New Era

中国和越南是一衣带水的邻邦,又同是社会主义国家。随着两国关系的全面改善和发展,中越关系在22年里取得长足发展。双方政治关系发展到较高水平,经贸关系迅速发展,文化交往日益密切,外交上越南将中国列为最重要的邻国和交往对象,并致力于建设"面向21世纪的睦邻互信伙伴关系"。2013年10月,中国国务院总理李克强访问越南,推进了中越关系进一步发展。

China and Vietnam are separated by a narrow strip of water. They are neighboring states and both socialist countries.With overall improvement and development of relationship between two countries, Sino-Vietnam relations achieved the most significant progress in the past 22 years. The bilateral political relationship reached a higher level, the economic and trade partnership developed rapidly and the cultural exchanges have become closer and closer.In diplomacy, Vietnam classified China as the most important neighbor and contacting country, and also committed to build ＂the good-neighborly partnership of mutual trust in 21 century＂.In October, 2013, China＇s Prime Minister Li Keqiang visited Vietnam and promoted the further development of Sino-Vietnam relations.
