摘要
迦梨陀娑剧作《沙恭达罗》源自《摩诃婆罗多》里的一则插话,两者在题材内容上很接近。然而剧作在神性之纬上凸显了人性视角,创造出了迥异的主人公形象。就人物身份而言,插话凸显主人公的神性血统,剧作则赋予其凡人特性;就人物性格而言,插话里主人公表现出史诗中英雄人物的英气,同时杂有些许世故和狡黠,剧作则力图以人性视角重构主人公柔性的一面,使人物性格更加完整;就审美品格而言,插话赋予主人公原始神性之美,剧作则赋予其灵肉双美的审美特点。
Kalidasa's great drama Shakuntala was written based on some episodes in the Mahabharata , then their plots were nearly close .However the drama created new characters from a vision of human nature up a divine dimension .As far as the characters'identity was concerned ,the episodes strength-ened the characters'divine blood and extraordinary birth ,while the drama weakened their divine colors and endowed them more mortal nature ;as far as the characters'personality was concerned ,the epi-sodes conferred the characters strong images like heroes which were mixed with sly and worldly-wise colors ,while the drama rebuilt the characters'figure from the human angle and endowed them soft trait ;as far as the aesthetics was concerned ,the characters in the episodes were given an aesthetic feelings of primitive divinity ,while the drama endowed them an aesthetic characteristic combining with the harmony of both the body and spirit .
