Application Conditions of Milk Run: An Example From Zhengzhou Nissan Automobile

随着汽车行业竞争的日益剧烈,国内外主机厂纷纷开始寻找汽车供应链的优化方案。其中,库存水平与运输成本是其关注的重中之重,但二者是一对矛盾体,存在此消彼长的关系。调达物流利用其规模经济性,可以有效地解决这一矛盾,使主机厂以适当的运输成本,大幅降低其库存水平。尽管调达物流有诸多好处,但由于各个主机厂自身情况的复杂性,其实施调达物流的效果也不尽相同。文章将参考郑州日产实施调达物流的经验,探索调达物流在汽车行业的应用条件,以期为同类企业实施调达物流提供一定的指导。

With increasingly fierce competition in the automotive industry, domestic and foreign OEMs seek for the optimization of automotive supply chain. Inventory. levels and transportation costs deserve more important concern in supply chain, however they are contradictory. Because of economies of scale, milk run could solve the problem effectively, reducing OEMs＇ inventory levels and transport costs greatly. Despite of the benefits brought by milk run, it will have varying effects depends on the complexities of difterent OEMs. In this paper, based on the milk run experience of ZNA （Zhengzhou Nissan Automotive, ZNA）, we explore the application condi- tions of milk run in the automotive industry, in order to provide suggestion for automotive industry.
