基于Web-Quest模式下英语专业精读课教学实证研究

On the Teaching of “Intensive Course”Based on Web-Quest

精读课程作为英语专业学生的必修课,一直以传统讲授型教学为主;基于网络的主题探究式学习WebQuest可以弥补传统教学的不足,激励学生积极参与课堂活动,提高学生的思辨能力。以英语精读课程的教学设计与实践为例,介绍了Web-Quest的涵义、要素及操作方法,并详细论述了Web-Quest在教学中的实施步骤以及启示。

The intensive course, compulsory for all English majors, has been carried out mainly in a traditional lecturer-centered way, while Web-Quest, web-based inquiry learning with the help of the multimedia network technology, is complementary in encouraging students to get immensely involved in class activities, to learn by themselves and think critically. This paper is to illustrate how this new teaching mode is used in teaching ＂Intensive Course＂ in the case and how it can be made better use of in the further practice.
