金氏图书分类法初探

Research on the Book Classification of Jin Yunming

金氏图书分类法是由福建协和大学图书馆馆长金云铭先生在20世纪20年代创立并在实践中经过多次修改,最后成为福建协和大学和福州其他相关高校图书分类的基本方法,一直沿用到70年代末。本文主要对该分类法创立的过程和主要特色做一个初步探讨。

The Jin Book Classification was founded by Mr. Jin Yunming, who was the curator of the Library of Fujian Union University in the 1920＇ s and had been revised many times in practice,and finally became the basic method for book classfication of Fujian Union University and other universities in Fuzhou. The book classification had been used to the late 1970＇ s. The article makes a preliminary study on the constructing process and main characteristics of this classification.
