蔡清是明代著名的理学家,他秉持"诗以道情志"、为文"以义理为先"的诗文理论。蔡清的诗文创作也践行了其宗旨:不注重诗文的外在形式,而重视其内涵。蔡清的诗文成就虽然不是很高,却闪烁着理学的光芒,典型地反映了理学家在诗文领域的普遍共性。

Cai Qing was a famous Confucians in Ming Dynasty. He advocated the theory that the poetry was used to express the emotional or aspirations, and the main function of the article was eluci- dation of the concept. His poetry and article writing practiced his theory. He paid attention to the con- tent of the article, but not to the external form. Although his poetry and article achievement is not high, Confucianists radiance is glittering in these. It reflects the common feature of Confucians＇s poetry and article.
