Fuzhou Shipbuilding and Administration College （FSAC） is the first military technolo- gy college in China. Surprising is the fact that FSAC cultivated many excellent talents in Chinese mod- em history, which considerably resulted from glamorous results of foreign language education in FSAC. Research indicates that the foreign languages education in FSAC has the following characteristics： the integration of foreign language education and students＇ professional knowledge, the combination of au- thentic teaching materials in foreign languages and the self-written materials, the organization of inter- national teachers, highly-eliminated assessment systems and the integration of theory and practice les- sons. Furthermore, the unique characteristics in many areas like designing teaching objectives, choo- sing teaching materials, organizing teacher teams and implementing assessment approaches bring prac- tical insights to the current foreign language education in China.
