通过研究我们发现,儒学创始人孔子的"言行观"与西方经典语用学思想,特别是言语行为理论有诸多相通之处,可视为我国古代语言学思想的萌芽。本文旨在通过探究孔子的语言学思想,并通过对比分析西方言语行为理论,推进我国语言学研究的本土化进程。

This research discovers that, as the founder of Confucianism, Confucius thoughts of ＂words and deeds＂ share many similari- ties with Western classic pragmatics, especially the Speech Act Theory. Thus, these thoughts can be considered as the beginning of ancient Chinese linguistic theories. This article attempts to explore Confucius linguistic thoughts so as to show our extensive, profound and traditional Chinese culture ; and to promote the localizing process of our country＇s linguistic research by contrastive analysis of modern Western theories.
